Affiliate Disclosure

Trusted Health Choices is an independent health-product review site, run by an individual based in Ireland. We want you to know exactly how the site may make money, so you can judge our reviews with all the facts.

Affiliate links

Some of our reviews and articles may include affiliate links, such as links from retailer affiliate programmes. If you click one of these links and buy something, we may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra. The price you pay is the same as if you went to the retailer directly.

Commissions help cover the cost of running the site. You never have to use our links, and you're always free to buy elsewhere.

How we flag affiliate links

We clearly flag affiliate links wherever they appear. Any page that contains affiliate links will say so, and we'll mark the links or products concerned. If a page has no such notice, it has no affiliate links.

We do this because Irish and EU consumer-protection law requires commercial relationships to be clearly disclosed. This includes the Consumer Protection Act 2007 and the EU Unfair Commercial Practices Directive, which the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) enforces in Ireland. Above all, we think it's the honest thing to do.

Commissions never affect our scores

Whether a product has an affiliate link, and how much commission it might pay, has no effect on its score, its ranking or what we write about it. We'll still publish a poor review of a product we could earn from, and we'll still recommend products that earn us nothing.

Every review follows the same published method, scored on the evidence, ingredient quality and safety, value for money, labelling honesty and real-user experience. You can read the full method in How we review health products (https://www.trustedhealthchoices.com/post/how-we-review-health-products).

No paid placements

We don't accept payment for reviews. We don't sell placements, rankings or higher scores. Brands can't pay to be featured or to see a review before it's published.
